We are very excited to welcome you to the new and improved HostBaby webmail!
To access the new webmail, simply visit http://yourdomain.com/webmail2 - Be sure to replace 'yourdomain.com' with your actual domain name (Ours would be hostbaby.com for example).
You can also get to the webmail client from the Site Builder Dashboard (YourDomain.com/Dashboard) or the Full Developer Admin Panel (YourDomain.com/hostbaby) and going to the 'Webmail' link.
When you visit the new webmail, you'll first see the new login screen:
From here, you enter in the part of your email that comes before the @ symbol. For example, if you have John@johnsmith.com you would just put the "John" portion in the first box.
In the second box, labeled "Password", put in your normal email password.
NOTE: The new version of webmail will use your existing login info. You do not need to setup a new email account to access the new webmail client. If you have forgotten your email account password, or username, you can reset it.
The first time you login, you will be asked to provide some information to customize your webmail account:
The first box will set what you'd like your Display Name to be. Your Display Name is what people see when you send a message, it will usually appear as Name <firstname.lastname@example.org> in the FROM section of an email.
The second box will show the email address you are setting up. Do not change this.
The third box will set the Organization this email address is associated with. If you are using this email for your band, a record label, or perhaps a church, you can enter the name of the organization here; This field is optional and can be left blank.
The fourth ,and final box, lets you create an email signature. If you want a signature to appear at the bottom of emails you send, then enter it how you would like it to appear here.
Once you have completed the setup, click "Save" to enter the mailbox.
NOTE: Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, it may take a few minutes for all of your emails to appear. For email accounts with a large number of messages in the Inbox, this can sometimes take 10 minutes or more the first time as it is loading all of the messages from the old webmail client into the new one.
After all your emails have loaded from the old webmail, you will see the new Inbox view:
Now you're all setup to use the new RoundCube webmail client! If you'd like more information on using the new webmail client, please see our article on Using RoundCube.
